We are inviting Test Automation Engineer to join a growing account in the medical devices industry domain. Our team focuses on automated software testing for a medical device - insulin delivery therapies system with Bluetooth low-energy communication.

The candidate should have:

• 7+ years of automation testing experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of automation testing experience with a Master’s degree (technical areas - hardware/software development).
• Experience in one or more of the following software languages: C (at least to read existing test scripts)/Java/Python.
• Experience in software testing - Verification & Validation.
• Experience with testing an Embedded or Mobile Device.
• Experience with extending of existing test automation frameworks.
• Experience with test documentation (Test Plan/Test Strategy) creation.
• Experience in providing concise, timely, and accurate status reports of all verification activities.
• Experience in verbal communication with English-speaking customers.

Nice to have:

• Experience in one or more of the following software languages: C++/C#, JavaScript.
• Experience with creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with Firmware or Software in a medical device environment.
• Experience working independently and as a team member.
• Experience in testing of the Bluetooth communication, work with RF sniffer.
• Experience in API testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define test strategies for embedded products.
• Develop/extend existing test framework.
• Review test cases/scripts created by other team members.
• Design test cases and script them using the automation framework.
• Use device emulators or real hardware to test a product firmware.
• Read, analyze, understand requirements and provide feedback to members of the requirements, development, and test team.
• Provide technical leadership to Engineers across multiple sites.
• Participate and contribute to a product design reviews.
• Work on initiatives to drive continuously improvements in test processes and procedures.
• Keep abreast of technical and industry trends related to software verification.
• Follow standards defined by the Food and Drug Administration for the medical device industry.
• Mentor/Supervise newcomers.
